Recommended VideosWhen first starting a game of Ark: Survival Evolved, figuring out where to begin can be overwhelming. There are twelve maps within the title, and nothing is guiding new players as to which maps need to be completed and in what order. The eleven maps are typically broken into two groups: six maps are canonical, and six are not. Beyond this, however, the maps should be completed in a specific order to experience the actual campaign that Ark: Survival Evolved has to offer.
A man who took his dog out for a walk in France two years ago made an astounding discovery -- one that he's been keeping a secret, until now. In 2022, Damien Boschetto stumbled upon a massive, 70 million-year-old fossil that turned out to be a nearly complete skeleton of a long-necked titanosaur, he told ABC News. Boschetto, now 25 years old, said the unexpected discovery was made in the forests of Montouliers, near his home in Cruzy, a village in southern France.
It seems unlikely, but it did indeed happen: A man "wearing full ninja garb" attacked members of a U.S. Army special operations unit in the middle of the night in the California desert, setting off a scramble for safety and resulting in at least two injuries, according to police and other records. The incident occurred a little after 1 a.m. on Sept. 18, when authorities in Ridgecrest, Calif., got word of a sword-wielding man dressed as a ninja on the loose at the Inyokern Airport in Kern County, north of Los Angeles.

Like those better. The one on the left is the best, with a nice dynamic pose that gives the cliff face a more impactful sense of perpendicularity.…no, "dynamic" is the wrong word. The Cliff Raptor's not in motion, It's a "ready to pounce" pose. Anyhow, it'd make a perfectly acceptable illustration for the original 3E Cliff Raptor or the 5E Conversion by CaseyReeseKunst that launched this thread, neither of which have any description of the 'raptors arms.

I'm a little confused about what problem you're trying to solve. I can't recall ever being in a game where protecting the squishies was a problem due to lack of reactions. Are you running lots of combats where there are tons of enemies swarming the party? Currently, I am on the player side of things. 5E is the edition of D&D that I have the least experience running, but I am prepping to run an upcoming game.
I have never heard of the Dungeon Coach (and have heard of Treantmonk, for reference). Maybe there just isn't a lot of overlap here? That's possible. I've seen his videos pop up from time to time, though I don't know too much about him. (I admittedly kind of lose track of who's who in the crowded throng of bearded late twenties to thirties white guy D&D Youtubers.)I decided to look more into this new system and watch more of his videos, just so I can talk about my own impression of the game so far.
