How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Minun in Pokmon GO
Shiny Minun can be found and captured more easily in Pokémon GO if players take the necessary steps to increase the amount of Minun they find.

Shiny Minun has been a Pokémon that players can find and catch in Pokémon GO since 2018, but it's still one of the rarest finds in the mobile game. Shiny Minun can be easily identified by their hands, ears, and cheek symbols, as the blue coloration is replaced by a mint-green. Both Shiny versions of Pokémon and their standard versions have the same catch rate, but they differ vastly in how easily they can be found. Like many other Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO, players have a 1/500 chance to find a Shiny Minun.
Minun is ultimately one of the weaker Pokémon to use in Pokémon GO, but having a Shiny variation allows players to show off their collection in style. Shiny Minun was originally added to Pokémon GO in 2018 alongside the 2018 Pokémon GO Fest event, as was its Shiny partner Plusle. Minun can still be a difficult Pokémon to find in Pokémon GO, and with fewer encounters players are less likely to find a Shiny Minun as well.
Like many other Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO, the easiest way to find a Shiny Minun is by increasing the number of encounters with the Pikachu-look-alike in-game. All Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO are fortunately much easier to find than their Shiny counterparts in the mainline of games. Players do not have to worry about any sort of software resetting or complicated procedure to finding a Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO, they solely need to exercise a bit of patience. Unfortunately, items like the Shiny Charm in Pokémon BDSP aren't available in Pokémon GO, but players can still use a few tools to improve their chances of finding a Shiny Minun.
Pokémon GO: How To Find & Catch Shiny Minun More Easily

The easiest way to find a Shiny Minun more easily is to keep up to date with any events that feature Minun in Pokémon GO, such as Spotlight Hours. Spotlight Hours don't increase the odds of finding a Shiny Pokémon, but they will increase the spawn rate of the featured Pokémon. From there, players need to find as many Minun in Pokémon GO as they possibly can.
Another way players can increase the amount of Minun they find is by using the Silph Road Nest Atlas in Pokémon GO. The Silph Road Nest Atlas can point players in the direction of the specific Pokémon's nearest nest, where they'll be able to find a high population of Minun. Although any Spotlight Hour is the preferred method because players don't need to travel to specific locations, the Silph Road Nest Atlas can be a useful tool to finding and catching Shiny Minun in Pokémon GO.
Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
